In both the "Ari Easy Slider" and "Ari_Sexy Lightbox Anywhere" and associated files, all give example codes using the { and }.

Embedding this via HTML in an article does nothing but show up as text.

How are these various codes inserted/written in an article?

Sent via email as requested, but I don't see how seeing the site will answer how to embed the codes that are surrounded by { and } in to a article so it doesn't become part of the article itself, or using the HTML in TinyMC to embed them. Embedding the code with the { and } does nothing.

The whole point in buying both slider, and lightbox was, as instructed, to make it so any "More.." links, opened in a lightbox.

It just necessary to place plugin code ({arisexylightbox ...} and etc.) in a place where do you want to use the extension. We don't see any problem by the link which you sent by email.
