TOPIC: menu conflict?

menu conflict? 14 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
I have just installed the ARI slider module and it's working great, except that it seems to conflict with the drop down/inline menu system in my Joomla template (NUVO). I have set the slider module to be active in the HOME (and all child) menus, but when i hover the mouse over my other menus, the HOME child-menus persist, and are displayed behind the other menus, which appear on top. I'm not sure what to try or if this is a conflict that i cannot fix! I've attached a photo of what happens to the menus - maybe someone can help?

Thanks!

Hello,

Could you provide link to page where we can see this issue that we can investigate it? If it's private you can send it by email.

also - the problem seems to replicate with OrbitSlider, but not with other image slider software (which incidentally isn't as sleek as the ARI alternative!)

This problem occurs because menu module can't work when several instances of jQuery is loaded. Open slider module settings page and set 'Include jQuery' parameter to 'No'. It should help.
