Hi, can you tell me how I get the images into smartbook. I understand that this controlled in the Page source flip. However, I do not understand how to upload the images. In my description file it says by default - smartbook.csv. There is now upload function that I can see. Pls assist. Regards

If you want to create a book based on images from folder(s) on your server, set "Pages are created from" parameter to "Images" when create a book and enter path(s) to folder(s) with images in "Page source -> Directories" parameter in book settings.

Images can be uploaded via Joomla! media manager. For this open "Content -> Media Manager" page on Joomla! backend. We will add ability to upload images directly into the component in a future version.

Hi again - still do not see any presentation, but I put in the path; /home/1/b/bpopartner/www/images/com_arismartbook/pdf_import/Presentasjon_107_b to the folder for the images in Joomla Media Manager. I can see the images is there. Do I need other specification than that?

I guess I alos have to include this in a Joomla Articel - how do I do that.

Set "Page source -> Directories" parameter to the following value:

images/com_arismartbook/pdf_import/Presentasjon_107_b

It is possible to create a link to a book in Joomla! menu manager, for this choose "ARI Smart Book -> Book" menu item type or if you want to load a book into an article, use "System - ARI Smart Book" plugin. You can read about the plugin here.

Nice - I got it up! - But - How do I control the layout - and is it anywhere, where I can see examples etc. Now I have uploaded a powerpoint - and it get shrinked.

Style parameters like width, height, font and etc. are configured in template settings. Open "ARI Smart Book -> Templates" page and choose template which is used in your book. BTW, documentation for the extension is available here.
