Hi, I had Ari Smartbook installed in a Joomla 2.5 page. When upgrading, I uninstalled the component as I was not sure it would be compatible.

After the upgrade I re-installed the ARI Smartbook version 1.8.1, and got the following error:


Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JParameter in [...]\tmp\install_550c26606266b\backend\libraries\legacy\joomla\html\parameter.php on line 435

On extensions.joomla.org I read it's compatible with Joomla 3, and I bought the license not even a year ago, so I would have thought it should work.

Hello,

The extension is compatible with Joomla! 3.x (including v. 3.4). It can be a conflict with a 3rd party extension. Could you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate the problem?

Thank you for the help. before I wrote this message, I logged in to download the latest version, which didn't work. Now I have tried the same again and it worked - so the problem is solved!
