I just bought your AriSmartbook and tries to make it work on my local site first.

First thing I want to do : import a PDF file. So I configured conversion method to CloudConvert, signed to Cloudconvert and got a API key, set it in the parameters, and launched import.

And I got this message : "CloudConvert Error: cURL error 60: See curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html "


What did I do wrong ?

Hu... thank you very much for your quick answer, but I am far from beeing an advanced user. I can use a joomla interface, but I have no idea of who is CURL, and am very reluctant to make changes in system files such as php.ini that looks like chinese for me

In fact, I though BUYING a componant would avoid me such perillous manipulations.

As far as it is my local system, ok, I can add the line curl.cainfo = "path_to_cert\cacert.pem" but you will have to tell me exactly where to copy it to keep the file clean.

And furthermore, will it be the same thing with my distant site (where I am not even sure to have the modification rights on php.ini) ?

This is a well-known problem with cURL and SSL connections in PHP, but it seems WAMP (LAMP, MAMP) package which you use doesn't contain fix for this problem. For example MAMP PRO package for Mac OS works fine. On popular hostings it should work fine without any additional manipulation.

Nevertheless, I tried to do what was in the link you send me. I copied the file at the root of my web site, and , at the first line of php.ini , I added curl.cainfo = "cacert.pem"

And now, I got this :
CloudConvert Error: cURL error 77: See curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html

It seems it was a bad idea to set a flipbook on my web site. I should keep it simple : after all it is just for my biking Club.

Specify a full path to cacert.pem file. For example:

curl.cainfo="C:\dev\xampp\php\cacert.pem"
