When I try to import data as PDF file I get the following error on my local server

CloudConvert Error: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain

while the active website goes blank

This is a problem with certificate file on your hosting. This problem is described in more details here. Contact hosting support so they fix it.
