it's possible to define a default table sorting with the JDataTable plugin?

Hello,

"ARI JDataTable" plugin doesn't support this ability, but it is supported by "ARI JTableSorter" plugin.

I need also the ability to filter. Can i combine a sorting functionality with a filtering functionality?

In this case you can submit feature request here and we will ability to set default sorting for "ARI JDataTable" in a future release.
