I am interested in buying the smart content. But before buying I have a question: Can we add different level of permissions to users? i.e. A user with view only, another one add data, another one both add and delete etc.

Can you describe more details what do you mean? ARI Smart Content is used for adding different gadgets and effects to your content, but it can't delete or add any data.

I want to form a table like:

Product Unit Price Model Production Year etc.

Then I want other people to be able to enter data. And I want this searchable by people with appropriate permissions.

Is that possible?

Sorry, no. Plugins from ARI Smart Content can only show data.

ARI Smart content contains the following plugins for shows data:

ARI SQL Table plugin (smart.ari-soft.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6) which can show data from database.

ARI CSV Table plugin (smart.ari-soft.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=24) which can show data from CSV file.

You can wrap this data with other table plugin, such as ARI JDataTable, ARI JFlexGrid, ARI JTableSorter, ARI MooTable. It adds to your data table additional functionalities, such as scrolling, sorting, search and etc.
