Im primarily interested in data tables and charts from either CSV or SQL. I mistakenly thought that the JdataTable included within Smart Content was the same as ARI Data Tables.

All the examples I have seen of getting one table to effect another are for ARI Data Tables and involve passing parameters on the URL to a page (and subsequently reading them again).

It seems that this is not possible with the smart content offering.

Can you confirm this is the case. I think you may suggest PHPDirect but I'm not really keen to go down that track..

Perhaps I need to swap SmartContent for ARI Data Table?

Hello,

Currently "ARI Smart Content" doesn't provide ability to use request parameters in SQL query. This feature will be available in v. 2.0. Currently DirectPHP can be used for this purpose.
