I am busy getting my site ready to enable Search Engine Friendly URL's (Global Settig in Joomla 1.5) and for this setting to work successfully all references to the images and files on the site has to be the full URL and not the relative URL.

For this reason I want to change the path to the CSV file used by the aricsvtable to be the full URL, i.e. htt://www.xyz.co.za/folder/subfolder/file.csv but it seems like the aricsvtable component does not handle the full path correctly.

Please can you tell me what I can do to get the aricsvtable to recognise the full path instead of the relative path to the CSV file?

You can leave relative path because it uses only on server side and this doesn't use for creating SEF url.

I have tried using the relative path after switching on Search Engine Friendly URL and it doesn't work with relative URL's.

After switching on this option all links in my site to images and resources are broken, including the aricsvtable component. To overcome this problem I changed to the full URL and this solved my problem, except for this component. Please help?

Do you speak about 'ARI CSV Table' plugin or about the whole site? 'ARI CSV Table' plugin works with relative url for 'file' parameter and SEF doesn't affect it. Leave relative url for 'file' parameter of 'ARI CSV Table' and it should work. As we said in previous post, this parameter use only on server side for reading file and it doesn't require SEF functionality.

I understand what you said that I must leave the relative URL but this does not work, I have tried it, enabled the option and the aricsvtable function does not load the CSV file.
