I am having issues trying to get the accordion feature to work.

I am using the K2 content component. I copied the accordion code and put it in the HTML section of my editor. Unfortunately my editor seems to put the code in a paragraph tag by default which turns the code into normal text.

any help would be welcomed

Set "All components" parameter to "Yes" in "System - ARI Smart Content" plugin settings. If it doesn't help, could you provide a link to a page where we can see the problem?

Okay I have just looked at this problem again and your code just isn't being seen at all in K2. I don't know if you know anything about K2 but is it a content system which sits on top of Joomla! to give it more features.

I am using Joomla! 3. Both Joomla! and K2 have a tendency to put the accordion code in paragraph tags:<p></p>, so it automatically thinks it's text. I have tried deleting the Paragraph tags in the HTML editor but when I go to save the article/item it automatically puts them back in again.

We know what is K2 and the extension should work in K2 content.

The page doesn't contain "ARI JAccordion" plugin.

Could you specify what plugin code do you try to use, in what K2 item do you use it and provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate the problem?
