We are currently upgrading our AriSmart plugins to version 2.2.4 and seem to be having an issue with the Data Table plugin.

Basically, converting our code from {arijdatatable} to use the new {datatable} syntax does not seem to be generating an actual data table, just a static HTML table. Accordion and Fancy Box codes seem to work fine.

Please let me know if we're doing something wrong? We don't want to use the module plugin, we just want to continue using the code in an article as our tables are HTML already, so we were hoping to simply change out the old {arijdatatable} with {datatable} - but even using your simple example from the documentation (as on the test page above) it displays nothing dynamic.

Hi there,

Just an update ...

I worked out that this is a jquery clash so I'm looking at how to work around that if you have any advice.

Also, I now have an issue with the Media Gallery, which just doesn't work at all. I'm really stuck on this as this was the reason we upgraded, we really wanted to make use of the media gallery plugin but it doesn't seem to work when you click on the thumbnail .. for example on this test page -even without jquery being called in.

Hope this makes sense but please let me know if you have any advice at all.

Hello,

1. Could you explain what exactly doesn't work? The paging and filtering are working fine.

2. If you want to integrate "Media Gallery" module with a lightbox extension, select an lightbox in "Lightbox integration" parameter in module settings and check that the selected lightbox plugin is installed, configured and enabled.

Thanks for getting back to me.

1. I found that it was a jquery issue, once I took the call to jquery out it works - just wondering now if there's a way around this i.e. is there a version of jquery that won't clash? Before removing jquery it basically showed an html table - no theme/filter/search/pagination, nothing at all.

2. Yes in the back-end I have tried both fancybox and sexylightbox integration, both are installed and enabled already - pls see images below. Any further advice? I also have tried using the media gallery in a blank/default Joomla template and it still doesn't work - test page here.

Another quick update re: media gallery/sexyboxy, I have tested using sexybox on its own and it works. It just doesn't work in media gallery (same with fancy box). Basically when you click on an image/thumbnail in the gallery, it just opens the image in a new window, no lightbox etc. Very confused
