TOPIC: How to- Display tables based on user input

Re:How to- Display tables based on user input 8 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 760
Try now. It searches by "id" field (like define in "WHERE" clause).

PS: It didn't work before because unnecessary spaces where added in code from "WHERE" clause.

Hi again,

It works responding to the request submission, but this time when I entered id of 8, the record for 18 is also displayed.

Thank you for your help

Kind regards

It shows 8 and 18 according to search criteria. If want to show only record with id = 8, use the following condition in "WHERE" clause:

id = {$REQUEST:searchStr|empty:''}

instead of:

id LIKE CONCAT ("%", {$REQUEST:searchStr|empty:''}, "%")
