Understood. I had datatables activated - but not HTML tables. All working now. Thanks.

on update to 3.9 any page with data tables or slideshows fail (500 error)
installed 2.3.1 still failed.
turned on development reporting:
Fatal error: Cannot make static method Joomla\CMS\Helper\ModuleHelper::getModuleById() non static in class AriModuleHelper in /home/rprehn/public_html/administrator/components/com_arismartcontent/kernel/Module/j16/class.ModuleHelper.php on line 82

Accordion pages work
