Hi guys,

I updated the quiz plugin through the wordpress dashboard and it has come back with an error, saying it was unable to update it and it's not supported. Wordpress has then removed the plugin from my menu all together. (I didn't take a screenshot sorry)

I downloaded the new version and thought I could manually install the new version, it's saying that all of the files are still there (screenshot). However I can't see or find it from the Wordpress dashboard / make changes to my existing quiz.

I'm worried that if I delete this folder and then upload with the new version that my existing quiz will be lost?

Can you please advise the best course of action (or is there a way that I can backup the quiz / data if I have to remove it and then reinstall it?)

Hello,

If you can't uninstall the plugin from "Plugins" page then delete <plugins_directory>/ari-stream-quiz folder by FTP and install the plugin again. All quizzes will be available because they are stored into a database.

BTW, if auto update doesn't work, check that you specify API key. Read here how to do it.

And the key had been copied and saved to wordpress. Hopefully juts a glitch in the force
