ARI YUI Menu is an excellent module and your support response times in the forum and via email is fast! As per your request I would like to request the following features;

At the top level of the menu the selected menu item has the class handle of yuimenuitem-selected which I can use to style the selected item.

Unfortunately, the submenu level does not have a class handle in the html menu structure to which I can apply styling. I would also like to see ancestor and a parent class handle for the upper level menu items of the selected submenu item.

yuimenuitem-selected class for the submenu (any level)
yuimenuitem-parent class for the parent of yuimenuitem-selected
yuimenuitem-ancestor class for all ancestor from top-level to the parent e.g. if menu is three or more deep
