I have added your module to my ja purity ii template in the left position, but it does a drop down and not a fly out to the right. Is there any way that I can fix this?

Provide link to page where we can see the problem. It can be a problem with site template styles.

Open module settings page and set "Menu direction" parameter to "Vertical".
