I am trying to use Air Yui menu to have a transparent drop down and different color text for the main menu.

Basically I want it to look like the attached image. As you can see the TOP menu is all capital letters and is white Arial Bold. When you hover on the top menu the letters are white like HOME, the other non active and non hovered letters are green. There is about 100 pixels between each top menu item.

The dropdown is semi-transparent. And there are little right arrows pointing to the sub drop downs.

Would appreciate any help you can give. Will be using Joomla's main menu to do this. Joomla 1.5.26

Hello,

It seems "ARI Ext Menu" is more suitable for your needs. It is possible to configure text and background color, text transform and other parameters in module settings. If you want to do some additional changes for the menu, this post should be useful. It contains description of menu HTML layout and CSS classes.
