i having a problem with changing the text color of the top level on my new joomla site and the background image on the "start" item on the left side.

the color must be #FFFFFF and the background image the same like the rest.

i have trie different tips from your forum, but i didnґt find the right place to change. Im looking many times with firebug in the CSS but i have no more ideas.

Iґm using Firefox as my default browser. In IE8 it looks different: there is the background image on "Start" item ok but the submenuґs are total wrong. In FF the submenuґs are OK.

The browser differences i have fixed now in the index.php from the template:
